The refresher training course is for existing employees company-wide to ensure that the Code of Business and ethics is understood and supported in Barrick Gold’s company culture and among all of the employees.
In particular, the course will cover
- Employees responsibility to comply with the Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures;
- How to use the Code of Conduct to guide employees in making ethical decisions;
- How to recognize the importance of human rights and anti-corruption compliance;
- How to report a concern; and
- How to use the hotline to report and follow up anonymously on a concern.

The anti-corruption handbook is a guide to Interpreting Barrick ’s anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy and procedure. This Handbook is designed to help explain some of the key elements of the Policy and related Procedure. Barrick’s commitment to ethical business practices is expressed in the companies Code of Business Conduct and Ethics (Code of Conduct), which applies to every Barrick employee, wherever he or she may work. The Code of Conduct sets out clear expectations of ethical conduct and requires that employees obey all applicable laws and regulations, including in relation to corruption and bribery.
