Building capacity

By using the CCEAC model and leveraging the experience, expertise, and passion of our supporters and volunteers, CCEAC team members provide guidance, training, and support to help leaders and champions from universities and other sectors adapt the CCEAC model in their country and help build capacity.

Leveraging universities

Universities have a unique and critical role to play to foster knowledge transfer but they can also be a catalyst to bring together private industry, public institutions, civil society groups and academia to share and promote best practices and support innovative strategies to tackle corruption-related harm. The CCEAC model leverages this approach to build anti-corruption capacity in other countries.

Universities are at the core of the CCEAC model

  • Universities are seen as independent and unbiased entities that can facilitate discussion, exchange and collective action.
  • Provides access to academic research opportunities to test and validate tools, processes, and strategies.
  • Universities have the experience, capacity and credibility to develop, provide and/or support awareness, academic courses and professional training to meet the needs of people and organisations.
  • Provides opportunities to engage and challenge students—the next generation of business leaders—to take an active role in promoting ethics, compliance, and anti-corruption measures.
